For over 15 years, I have been helping people create their own success stories with achieving their weight goals, resolving digestive issues, improving heart health and managing their blood sugar.  Whether you are new to a nutrition program or unhappy with your current one, my unique approach is easy to follow and flexible to your everyday lifestyle.  I will help you look at food in a different light.

As a child, my meals included everything from home cooking to convenient store chili dogs. Burger King and Arby’s were thrown in occasionally just to spice things up, while Lunchables and Little Debbie snacks were regulars in my school lunch box. In my teens, I became vegetarian and later vegan. Back then, I lacked the proper guidance and education on what a “healthy and balanced” diet looked like. With extensive education and many years of experience in the health and wellness field, I am here to share my knowledge with you.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT).  I obtained my Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences at Pennsylvania State University, where I learned the importance of a well balanced diet and how the choices we make can impact our health.  I completed my Dietetic Internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and later went on to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and organizations that specialize in HIV and developmental disabilities.  I have also consulted with online weight-management programs, including The South Beach Diet and have been published in SELF, Gourmet and Bon Appetite magazines.  In addition to having a private practice, I am currently the dietitian for Goldman Sachs and Downstate Medical Center’s STAR Health Center.
